p65 is a subunit of the nuclear factor kappa B. The transcription factor NFkB is widely recognized as a critical mediator of immune and inflammatory responses. In most cell types, NFkB is found in the cytoplasm where it is associated with an inhibitory prd in many tissues. A high proportion of spontaneous NIH/3T3 transformants overexpress c-Met and by transfection analysis the c-Met proto-oncogene has been shown to exhibittransforming activity.
Homo Sapiens (Human)
Synthetic peptide, corresponding to amino acids 470-520 of Human NFkB-p65.
Human, Mouse, Rat
60, 75 kDa
Product: 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2.Specificity: NFκB-p65 (A499) polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of NFκB-p65 protein.
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
