Attribute to the large surface area, uniform size, narrow size distribution and unique surface coating of the MonoMag Carboxyl Beads as well as the specifically formulated conjugation buffers, the resulting conjugates exhibit high binding capacity and low non-specific binding of protein or nucleic acids. The kit contains sufficient reagents \u0026amp; components for performing at least 5 conjugation reactions. All componets in the kit have been autoclaved. Briefly, the magnetic beads are activated using carbodiimide and N-hydroxysuccinimide followed by conjugation to amino groups that are present on the target protein\/ligand.
