Match the mechanism to your assay question. Use an agonist when you want to activate the target channel or receptor to study its downstream effects, and an antagonist when you need to block or inhibit the target to observe loss-of-function outcomes.

Each product datasheet includes recommended solvents, stock solution concentrations, and working concentrations. Most compounds are available as lyophilized powder; some are offered pre-dissolved for convenience.

Protect from light and moisture, store desiccated at the temperature indicated on the datasheet (typically −20 °C). Aliquot stock solutions upon first reconstitution to avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
