DENARASE® & DENARASE® High Salt

Nuclease selection is a process decision, not a catalogue decision. Benchmark nucleic acid clearance under your own buffer conditions before committing to a supply agreement.

0–500 mM salt tolerance  ·  Purity ≥ 98–99%  ·  Animal origin-free  ·  US FDA DMF

Which variant fits your process?

Both variants hydrolyse single- and double-stranded, linear, circular and supercoiled DNA and RNA to fragments of roughly 3–5 base pairs. They differ in the salt window over which they stay active. If you are unsure, tell us your lysis conditions on the form below and we will recommend one.

DENARASE®
Wild-type enzyme. Peak performance at 0–150 mM salt, pH 7.4–9. Purity ≥ 99%. The more economical choice at physiological conditions — the default for standard lysis workflows.
DENARASE® High Salt
Engineered variant. Retains activity across 0–500 mM salt, pH 7.4–9. Purity ≥ 98%. Enables salt-supplemented lysis conditions that can improve viral vector recovery.

What the sample lets you establish

  • Working enzyme concentration for your lysate — evaluations typically start in the 10–100 U/mL range
  • Clearance performance at your actual salt and pH, and which variant suits your process window
  • Viscosity reduction and its downstream effect on filtration and chromatography
  • A residual endonuclease baseline, which the DENARASE® ELISA Kit can then quantify during validation

From evaluation to GMP supply

R&D and GMP grades are released against identical specifications, so process data generated on the sample carries forward without repeating enzyme characterisation. c-LEcta maintains a US FDA Drug Master File and supplies a Change Guidance Document for the grade transition. BioHippo is c-LEcta's authorized United States distributor for the DENARASE® portfolio.
