Product Overview

Research Use Only

The protein encoded by this gene is a cell surface transmembrane protein that may act as an erythroid cell receptor, possibly as a mediator of cell adhesion. Polymorphisms in this gene are responsible for the Scianna/Radin blood group system. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.

Validated Applications

Western Blot (WB) See datasheet for recommended dilution
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) See datasheet for recommended dilution
ELISA (ELISA) See datasheet for recommended dilution

Is this antibody tested in WB against Human Fetal Liver Lysate and in IHC against Human Esophageal Cancer Tissue?

Yes, that is correct.

What applications has the Anti-ERMAP Antibody been validated for?

This antibody has been validated for: Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA. For each application, follow the recommended dilutions on the product datasheet and optimize empirically for your sample type.

What is the recommended dilution range?

Recommended dilutions vary by application and sample type. Start with the manufacturer's suggested range (typically 1:500–1:2000 for WB; 1:50–1:200 for IHC/IF) and optimize for your specific experimental conditions.

Which species does this antibody recognize?

This antibody has been confirmed reactive against: Human. Cross-reactivity with other species may occur due to sequence homology but is not guaranteed without independent validation.

What is the immunogen / antigen used to generate this antibody?

Rabbit polyclonal ERMAP (1) antibody was raised against a recombinated human ERMAP protein 304-467aa (BC099703).
