Product Overview

Research Use Only

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the IRS1-like multisubstrate docking protein family. It is an important mediator of branching tubulogenesis and plays a central role in cellular growth response, transformation and apoptosis. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Validated Applications

Western Blot (WB) 1:500~1:1000

Key Specifications

Immunogen / Antigen

The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human Gab1 around the phosphorylation site of tyrosine 627 (V-E-YP-L-D).

Reactivity Notes

Gab1 (phospho-Tyr627) antibody detects endogenous levels of Gab1 only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 627.
