Boster Bio Anti-Kallikrein 8 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody catalog # M03901-3. Tested in WB, IHC applications. This antibody reacts with Human.
Protein: T-cell surface glycoprotein CD3 zeta chain | Gene: Laminin subunit beta-1 | Target: KLK8 | Function: Binding to cells via a high affinity receptor, laminin is thought to mediate the attachment, migration and organization of cells into tissues during embryonic development by interacting with other extracellular matrix components. Involved in the organization of the laminar architecture of cerebral cortex. It is probably required for the integrity of the basement membrane/glia limitans that serves as an anchor point for the endfeet of radial glial cells and as a physical barrier to migrating neurons. Radial glial cells play a central role in cerebral cortical development, where they act both as the proliferative unit of the cerebral cortex and a scaffold for neurons migrating toward the pial surface. . | Research areas: Histones
Host: Rabbit | Clonality/Clone: Monoclonal / Clone: 27K94 | Isotype: IgG | Reactivity: Human | Immunogen: A synthesized peptide derived from human Kallikrein 8 | Concentration: 0.5mg/ml | Purification: Affinity-chromatography
Applications: WB, IHC
Observed MW: 35 kDa | Calculated MW: 198038 MW
Cellular localization: Secreted, extracellular space, extracellular matrix, basement membrane. Major component.
Tissue details: Seems to be restricted to the hematopoietic compartment. Expressed in peripheral blood, spleen, and bone marrow, at moderate levels in lung, small intestine and testis, at a minimal levels in other tissues. Also found in vascular smooth muscle cells and hematopoietic malignancies.
Status: Active
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
