Product Overview
Research Use OnlyThis gene encodes a magnesium-ion-dependent phosphatidic acid phosphohydrolase enzyme that catalyzes the penultimate step in triglyceride synthesis including the dephosphorylation of phosphatidic acid to yield diacylglycerol. Expression of this gene is required for adipocyte differentiation and it also functions as a nuclear transcriptional coactivator with some peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors to modulate expression of other genes involved in lipid metabolism. Mutations in this gene are associated with metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, and autosomal recessive acute recurrent myo

Storage & Handling
This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For extended storage, aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one (1) year from date of receipt.
Safety
For Research Use Only (RUO). Not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or veterinary use. Handle according to standard laboratory biosafety guidelines. Avoid skin and eye contact. Dispose of waste in accordance with local regulations.
This antibody has been validated for: Western Blot, ELISA. For each application, follow the recommended dilutions on the product datasheet and optimize empirically for your sample type.
Recommended dilutions vary by application and sample type. Start with the manufacturer's suggested range (typically 1:500–1:2000 for WB; 1:50–1:200 for IHC/IF) and optimize for your specific experimental conditions.
This antibody has been confirmed reactive against: Human. Cross-reactivity with other species may occur due to sequence homology but is not guaranteed without independent validation.
