Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects solute carrier family 68 member 1 (gene SLC68A1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 57.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 57 kDa.
SLC68A1 (MFSD13A) is a member of the major facilitator superfamily and may act as a cation symporter. Its physiological function has not been fully characterized.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Jurkat cells, human Hacat cells, human HEL cells, human Caco-2 cells, human K562 cells, human A431 cells, human SH-SY5Y cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): Jurkat cells.

Recombinant human MFSD13A fragment (Asn66–Val517), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places solute carrier family 68 member 1 in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in colorectal cancer cell lines but not in the normal colonocytes. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
