Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets negative elongation factor A (gene NELFA) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
NELFA is a subunit of the negative elongation factor (NELF) complex, which works with DSIF to pause RNA polymerase II shortly after transcription starts. Release of this promoter-proximal pause by the P-TEFb kinase is a key step in gene regulation, and NELF has also been linked to HIV-1 latency.
