Product Overview
Clone AEID-14 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes nucleoside diphosphate kinase A (gene NME1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 17.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 17 kDa.
NME1 (NM23-H1) is nucleoside diphosphate kinase A, which moves the terminal phosphate from ATP onto other nucleoside diphosphates via a phosphohistidine intermediate to keep NTP pools balanced. It also has histidine kinase and nuclease-related activities and was the first described metastasis suppressor, so it is studied in nucleotide metabolism and cancer metastasis.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human NM23A.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places nucleoside diphosphate kinase A in the cytoplasm, nucleus and cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitously expressed. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
