Product Overview
Clone 26N09 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes nucleoside diphosphate kinase B (gene NME2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 17.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 17 kDa.
NME2 (NM23-H2) is nucleoside diphosphate kinase B, an enzyme that generates nucleoside triphosphates from diphosphates using ATP as phosphate donor. Beyond this housekeeping role it can phosphorylate histidine residues on other proteins and bind DNA to influence transcription, including of MYC. It is studied in nucleotide homeostasis, gene regulation and cancer.

Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 12% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human NME2.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places nucleoside diphosphate kinase B in the cytoplasm, nucleus and cell projection. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitously expressed... The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
