Product Overview
Clone IOC-14 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes neurogenic locus notch homolog protein 4 (gene NOTCH4) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 209.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 230 kDa.
NOTCH4 is a Notch family receptor expressed mainly in endothelial cells. After ligand binding, its intracellular domain is released and acts with RBPJ to regulate transcription. It is studied in vascular development and angiogenesis and was originally identified as the mouse Int-3 mammary oncogene.

The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places neurogenic locus notch homolog protein 4 in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in the heart, moderately in the lung and placenta and at low levels in the liver, skeletal muscle, kidney, pancreas, spleen, lymph node, thymus, bone marrow and fetal liver.
