Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes NSFL1 cofactor p47 (gene NSFL1C) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 40.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 41 kDa.
NSFL1C (p47) is a UBX-domain cofactor of the ATPase VCP/p97. The p97–p47 complex is needed for Golgi disassembly during mitosis and for reassembly of Golgi stacks afterward, and p47 can reduce p97 ATPase activity. It is studied in membrane dynamics and ubiquitin-dependent processes.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Jurkat cells, human PC-3 cells, rat RH35 cells, mouse NIH/3T3 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): A549 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): 293T cells.

Recombinant human NSFL1C fragment (Glu20–Glu291), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places NSFL1 cofactor p47 in the nucleus, Golgi apparatus and chromosome. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
