Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets cAMP-dependent protein kinase inhibitor beta (gene PKIB) in human samples and is validated for IHC and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 8.5 kDa.
PKIB is a member of the PKI family of small, heat-stable inhibitors of cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA). It binds the free PKA catalytic subunit after cAMP releases the regulatory subunits, blocking its kinase activity and tuning cAMP signaling.

|---|---|
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human placenta tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Immunogen
Recombinant human PKIB fragment (Met1–Lys78), expressed in E. coli.
