Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 2A regulatory subunit B'' subunit alpha (gene PPP2R3A) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 130.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 128 kDa.
PPP2R3A encodes B″ (PR72/PR130) regulatory subunits of protein phosphatase 2A. Like other B subunits, it is thought to control which substrates PP2A acts on, how active it is and where it is located in the cell. It is studied in PP2A signaling, including in heart and cell cycle regulation.

Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.25 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): U2OS cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): SH-SY5Y cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human PPP2R3A fragment (Met1–Glu1150), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in heart, brain, placenta, lung, muscle and kidney. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
