Boster Bio Anti-Pyrophosphatase 1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody catalog # M07485. Tested in WB, IP applications. This antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat.
Protein: T-cell surface glycoprotein CD3 zeta chain | Gene: Ig mu chain C region | Target: PPA1 | Function: IgM antibodies play an important role in primary defense mechanisms. They have been shown to be involved in early recognition of external invaders like bacteria and viruses, cellular waste and modified self, as well as in recognition and elimination of precancerous and cancerous lesions. The membrane- bound form is found in the majority of normal B-cells alongside with IgD. Membrane-bound IgM induces the phosphorylation of CD79A and CD79B by the Src family of protein tyrosine kinases. It may cause death of cells by apoptosis. It is also found in soluble form, which represents about 30% of the total serum immunoglobulins where it is found almost exclusively as a homopentamer. After the antigen binds to the B-cell receptor, the secreted form is secreted in large amounts. . | Research areas: RNA Polymerase,Transcription
Host: Rabbit | Clonality/Clone: Monoclonal / Clone: 29P54 | Isotype: IgG | Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat | Immunogen: A synthesized peptide derived from human Pyrophosphatase 1 | Concentration: 0.5mg/ml | Purification: Affinity-chromatography
Applications: WB, IP
Observed MW: 33 kDa | Calculated MW: 49307 MW
Cellular localization: Isoform 1: Secreted. During differentiation, B-lymphocytes switch from expression of membrane- bound IgM to secretion of IgM.
Tissue details: Expressed by all types of trophoblasts as early as 9 weeks of development. Specific for trophoblastic cells except for amniotic epithelium. In adult tissues, the expression is limited to a few epithelial cell types but is found on a variety of carcinoma.
Status: Active
