Product Overview
Clone 19T81 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 11A (gene TNFRSF11A) in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 66.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 80 kDa.
RANK (TNFRSF11A) is the receptor for RANKL (TNFSF11). RANK signaling through TRAF6 activates NF-κB and NFATc1 and is essential for osteoclast formation and bone resorption. RANK also supports lymph node development, mammary gland development and dendritic cell function, and it is studied in bone biology, osteoporosis and bone metastasis.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitous expression with high levels in skeletal muscle, thymus, liver, colon, small intestine and adrenal gland. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
