Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets rho-associated protein kinase 1 (gene ROCK1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
ROCK1 (Rho-associated protein kinase 1) is a serine/threonine kinase activated by GTP-bound RhoA. It phosphorylates targets such as myosin light chain, the myosin phosphatase subunit MYPT1 and LIM kinases to drive actomyosin contraction, stress fiber formation and cell migration, and ROCK inhibitors such as Y-27632 are standard research tools.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places rho-associated protein kinase 1 in the cytoplasm, Golgi apparatus membrane, cell projection and cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Detected in blood platelets.
