Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 1 (gene TREM1) in human samples and is validated for flow cytometry, IHC, ICC/IF and Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 26.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 26 kDa.
TREM-1 is an activating receptor on neutrophils, monocytes and macrophages that amplifies inflammatory responses. Through the adaptor DAP12 (TYROBP) and the kinase SYK, it enhances cytokine and chemokine release triggered by Toll-like receptor signaling. A soluble form of TREM-1 is measured in sepsis research, and the receptor is studied in acute and chronic inflammation.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
|---|---|
| IHC (frozen sections) | 0.5–1 µg/mL |
| Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence | 0.5–1 µg/mL |
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells |
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:10000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): human PBMC cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human TREM1 fragment (Ala21–Arg200), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Mostly expressed by immune cells of the myeloid lineage, such as monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils and dendritic cells. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
