Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 15 (gene USP15) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 112.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 112 kDa.
USP15 is a deubiquitinating enzyme that regulates several signaling pathways. It is best known for promoting TGF-β signaling, for example by stabilizing the TGF-β receptor or its SMAD mediators, and it also affects NF-κB signaling and mitophagy. USP15 is studied in signal transduction and cancer.

Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 50 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:10000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): U2OS cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HL-60 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human USP15 fragment (Ala6–His583), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 15 in the cytoplasm, nucleus and mitochondrion. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in skeletal muscle, kidney, heart, placenta, liver, thymus, lung, and ovary, with little or no expression in other tissues. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
