Overview
CD43 Antibody is an antibody targeting CD43. Host: Mouse. Monoclonal. Clone: MT-1. Format: Purified. Applications: IHC-P.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: CD43.
- Immunogen: Recombinant full-length human SPN protein was used as the immunogen for the CD43 antibody..
- Species reactivity: Human.
- Localization: Cell membrane.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
It recognizes a cell surface glycoprotein of 95/115/135kDa (depending upon the extent of glycosylation), identified as CD43 [Workshop IV]. 70-90% of T-cell lymphomas and from 22-37% of B-cell lymphomas express CD43. No reactivity has been observed with reactive B-cells.
Common research applications
- IHC: tissue distribution assessment; interpret with matched controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
