Overview
CDX1 Antibody is an antibody targeting CDX1. Host: Mouse. Monoclonal. Clone: CDX1/1650. Format: Purified. Applications: IHC-P.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: CDX1.
- Immunogen: Recombinant human full-length CDX1 protein was used as the immunogen for the CDX1 antibody..
- Species reactivity: Human.
- Localization: Nucleus.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
The members of the murine Cdx family (Cdx1, Cdx2, and Cdx4) are members of the caudal-type homeobox family of genes, which are homologues of the Drosophila caudal gene required for anterior-posterior regional identity. The intestine-specific transcription factors Cdx1 and Cdx2 are candidate genes for directing intestinal development, differentiation, proliferation and maintenance of the intestinal phenotype.
Common research applications
- IHC: tissue distribution assessment; interpret with matched controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
