Biological Activity
Cefaloglycin (Cephaloglycin), an orally active, nephrotoxic beta-lactam cephalosporin antibiotic, exhibits antibacterial activity primarily against Gram-Positive cocci, excluding enterococci. It impairs mitochondrial substrate uptake and respiration, underscoring its toxicity (1) (2) (3).
