Immunogen / Antigen
Synthesized peptide derived from human protein. AA range:100-235
Reactivity Notes
Confirmed cross-reactivity: Human. Confirm suitability for untested species before use.
Scientific Background
CD8 is a 68 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein consists of two subunits, αβ heterodimer or αα homodimer linked by a disulfide. CD8 is mainly expressed on the surface of suppress/cytotoxic T cells and NK cells. It is detected to be positive in T-cell large granular lymphocytic leukemia and subcutaneous panniculitis like T-cell lymphoma, and can be a marker for Precursor T lymphoblastic leukemia / lymphoma. CD8 is negative in Mycosis Fungoides and non-hematolymphoid neoplasms.
Safety & Handling
This antibody is validated for Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, ELISA. Recommended dilutions: IHC 1:200-1000;WB 1:500-2000;IF 1:100-500;ELISA 1:1000-5000
Confirmed reactivity: Human. Other species should be validated by the user.
Conjugate: Unconjugated.
