Immunogen / Antigen
Synthesized peptide derived from human Cytokeratin 7 AA range: 350-469
Reactivity Notes
Confirmed cross-reactivity: Human. Confirm suitability for untested species before use.
Scientific Background
CK7 is a cytokeratin with a molecular weight of 54 kDa, which mainly marks glandular epithelium and transitional epithelium. It was positive in the epithelium of breast, thyroid, ovary, endometrium and lung, but negative in the epithelium of gastrointestinal tract, colon and prostate. It is mainly used for the study of epithelial tumors. It is often used in combination with CK20 for differential diagnosis of gastrointestinal adenocarcinoma, lung adenocarcinoma and breast cancer, and combined with EMA for diagnosis of synovial sarcoma.
