AAV5 has a distinct capsid and low human seroprevalence, with good transduction of the CNS — notably astrocytes when paired with a GFAP promoter — and of airway and lung epithelium (often via intranasal delivery). Its low pre-existing immunity makes it attractive for translational work. Every vector in this collection is a ready-to-use, qPCR-titered AAV5 preparation, including single-stranded and self-complementary (scAAV5) reporters and recombinases.
