AAV8 is the workhorse for liver-directed gene delivery. After intravenous injection it transduces hepatocytes with very high efficiency and also reaches skeletal muscle and heart. It is the standard choice for metabolic-disease models and liver-restricted expression, typically paired with the hepatocyte-specific TBG promoter. Every vector in this collection is a ready-to-use, qPCR-titered AAV8 preparation, including single-stranded and self-complementary (scAAV8) reporters and recombinases.
