Boster Bio Anti-CTNNBIP1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody catalog # M03185. Tested in WB, IP, Flow Cytometry applications. This antibody reacts with Human.
Protein: T-cell surface glycoprotein CD3 zeta chain | Gene: rRNA 2'-O-methyltransferase fibrillarin | Target: CTNNBIP1 | Function: S-adenosyl-L-methionine-dependent methyltransferase that has the ability to methylate both RNAs and proteins. Involved in pre-rRNA processing by catalyzing the site-specific 2'-hydroxyl methylation of ribose moieties in pre-ribosomal RNA. Site specificity is provided by a guide RNA that base pairs with the substrate. Methylation occurs at a characteristic distance from the sequence involved in base pairing with the guide RNA. Also acts as a protein methyltransferase by mediating methylation of 'Gln-105' of histone H2A (H2AQ104me), a modification that impairs binding of the FACT complex and is specifically present at 35S ribosomal DNA locus (PubMed:24352239). . | Research areas: Actin Assembly,Actin, etc.,Cytoskeleton,Cytoskeleton/ECM,Extracellular Matrix,Microfilaments,Signal Transduction,Structures
Host: Rabbit | Clonality/Clone: Monoclonal / Clone: 27C17 | Isotype: IgG | Reactivity: Human | Immunogen: A synthesized peptide derived from human CTNNBIP1 | Concentration: 0.5mg/ml | Purification: Affinity-chromatography
Applications: WB, ICC, FC, IP
Observed MW: 12 kDa | Calculated MW: 12 kDa
Cellular localization: Nucleus, nucleolus . Fibrillar region of the nucleolus.
Tissue details: In fetal tissues, highly expressed in brain, detectable in lung and liver, but not in kidney. In adult tissues, expressed ubiquitously in the brain, detectable in the heart, liver, spleen, thymus, prostate, testis, ovary, small intestine and colon. The type A isoforms seem to be expressed predominantly in fetal brain whereas type B isoforms are expressed abundantly in both fetal and adult brain. .
Status: Active
