Product Overview
Clone 25H28 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes HLA class I histocompatibility antigen, alpha chain F (gene HLA-F) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 39.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 42 kDa.
HLA-F is a nonclassical (class Ib) MHC molecule with limited polymorphism. It can occur both as a peptide-loaded complex with β2-microglobulin and as a peptide-free open form, and it interacts with inhibitory and activating receptors such as LILRB1 and KIR3DS1, so it is studied in NK cell regulation, immune tolerance and pregnancy.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places HLA class I histocompatibility antigen, alpha chain F in the cell membrane, early endosome membrane and lysosome membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in resting B cells (at protein level). The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
