Target biology
Protease nexin-II is a protease/peptidase that cleaves protein substrates to regulate maturation, signaling or degradation. Protease activity can drive pathway activation (e.g., zymogen processing) and is often studied in inflammation, apoptosis and extracellular matrix remodeling.
