Sandwich ELISA Kit

Assay Principle

This kit quantifies human Cytoglobin (CYGB) by sandwich ELISA. In this sandwich-format assay, a plate pre-coated with a capture antibody specific for Cytoglobin (CYGB) binds analyte from the sample; a biotinylated detection antibody and enzyme conjugate then form the detection complex, and signal is directly proportional to analyte concentration.

Kit Formats

This assay is offered in two formats: the Traditional kit (12-month shelf life) with standard reagent preparation, and the Ready-to-use kit (16-month shelf life) with pre-prepared components that reduce hands-on setup time. Both formats use the same validated antibody pair and deliver equivalent performance.

Assay Workflow

The kit includes the components required for standard-curve quantification (see the kit manual for the component table). Absorbance is read on a standard microplate reader and concentrations are interpolated from the standard curve.

Safety & Handling

For research use only (RUO). Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. Handle all samples and reagents using standard laboratory safety practices.

Q.Which sample types are compatible with this kit?
A.The kit is validated for tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. Centrifuge samples to remove particulates and follow the manual for matrix-specific dilution guidance.
Q.What is the difference between the Traditional and Ready-to-use formats?
A.Both use the same validated antibody pair. The Traditional kit (12-month shelf life) requires standard reagent preparation, while the Ready-to-use kit (16-month shelf life) ships with pre-prepared components that shorten setup.
Q.What are the detection range and sensitivity?
A.The assay quantifies CYGB across 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.065ng/mL. Dilute samples expected above the upper limit into the linear range.
Q.What format is the assay and how do I read results?
A.It is a sandwich ELISA read on a standard microplate reader; concentrations are interpolated from the kit standard curve.
Q.Can this kit be used for diagnostics?
A.No. It is strictly for research use only (RUO) and must not be used in diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
