Assay Principle
This kit quantifies human Secretin (SCT) by competitive ELISA. In this competitive-inhibition assay, analyte in the sample competes with a labeled conjugate for a limited number of antibody binding sites, so signal is inversely proportional to the concentration of Secretin (SCT) - the standard format for small analytes.

Kit Formats
This assay is offered in two formats: the Traditional kit (12-month shelf life) with standard reagent preparation, and the Ready-to-use kit (16-month shelf life) with pre-prepared components that reduce hands-on setup time. Both formats use the same validated antibody pair and deliver equivalent performance.
Assay Workflow
The kit includes the components required for standard-curve quantification (see the kit manual for the component table). Absorbance is read on a standard microplate reader and concentrations are interpolated from the standard curve.
Safety & Handling
For research use only (RUO). Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. Handle all samples and reagents using standard laboratory safety practices.
