Scientific Background
Human FANCA/FACA Protein — also known as FA; FA-H; FA1; FAA; FACA; FAH; FANCH — FANCA is one of the six known Fanconi anemia gene products (FANCA, FANCC, FANCD2, FANCE, FANCF, and FANCG proteins). Fanconi anemia (FA) is a genetic disorder predisposing to aplastic anemia and cancer characterized by hypersensitivity to DNA-damaging agents and oxidative stress. FANCA associates with the IκB kinase (IKK) signalsome via interaction with IKK2. Components of the FANCA complex undergo rapid, stimulus-dependent changes in phosphorylation, which are blocked by kinase-inactive IKK2.
Research into Human FANCA/FACA Protein supports investigations in cellular signaling and fundamental cell biology, with implications for epigenetics & gene regulation.
Product Description
Baculovirus-Insect CellsN-His
Produced in Baculovirus-Insect Cells, yielding a high-purity non-glycosylated form suitable for structural and biochemical applications.
The N-His enables single-step affinity purification and can also serve as a handle for direct detection using anti-tag antibodies without target-specific reagents.
Expression region: Met 1-Cys 297.

This protein is produced in baculovirus-infected insect cells. Baculovirus/insect expression provides intermediate post-translational modifications between bacterial and mammalian systems.
Purity: > 85% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE., confirmed by reducing SDS-PAGE. Endotoxin level: < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method., measured by LAL assay — critical for cell-based studies. Identity is verified by peptide mapping or N-terminal sequencing on request.
Yes — biological activity is confirmed per lot. Activity data: Not validated for activity. Run a titration in your own system to establish optimal working concentration before committing all samples.
Reconstitution: Please refer to the printed manual for detailed information.. Storage: Generally, lyophilized proteins are stable for up to 12 months when stored at -20 to -80℃. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-8℃ for 2-. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw — each cycle risks partial denaturation.
This protein is validated for ELISA, Functional Assay (In Vitro). It is commonly used as an ELISA standard, binding partner in SPR/BLI, or stimulant in cell-based functional assays. Validate performance in your specific format before use in critical experiments.
