U-Blot® Pan-Leucyllysine Rabbit pAb is a polyclonal antibody raised in Rabbit that specifically recognizes Leucyllysine (Lysine aminoacylation/acylation [Lys(K)]). It is designed for detection and analysis of the Lysine aminoacylation/acylation [Lys(K)] post-translational modification across research applications.
Leucyllysine (abbreviated as Kleu) is a novel aminoacylation-type post-translational modification occurring on lysine residues of proteins. This modification is formed by covalently attaching a leucyl group to the side chain amino group of lysine, which alters the charge, structure, and interaction properties of proteins. Kleu is widely distributed on histones and various functional proteins, and participates in key biological processes including gene transcription regulation, cellular metabolism, and protein homeostasis. It plays important roles in metabolic regulation, stress response, and related disease research, serving as an emerging target in the field of protein modification.
