Overview
Zebrafish Gnsa Antibody / N-acetylglucosamine-6-sulfatase is an antibody targeting Gnsa. Host: Rabbit. Polyclonal. Format: Antigen affinity purified. Applications: WB, IHC-P.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: Gnsa.
- Immunogen: An E.coli-derived zebrafish Gnsa recombinant protein (amino acids W224-R341) was used as the immunogen for the Zebrafis….
- Species reactivity: Zebrafish.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
N-acetylglucosamine-6-sulfatase, also known as glucosamine (N-acetyl)-6-sulfatase, is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the GNS gene. The product of this gene is a lysosomal enzyme found in all cells. It is involved in the catabolism of heparin, heparan sulphate, and keratan sulphate.
Common research applications
- WB: relative abundance and band pattern assessment using appropriate controls.
- IHC: tissue distribution assessment; interpret with matched controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
