Compound Overview

17(S)-HpDHA is the main product of the 15-lipoxygenase (LOX) isoenzymes h15-LOX-1 and h15-LOX-2 acting on docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). It negatively regulates epoxide synthesis through allosteric regulation and inhibits platelet aggregation with an EC50 of approximately 1 μM[1]. It is supplied as a colorless to light yellow liquid (C22H32O4, MW 360.49) at 99.48% purity.
