Compound Overview
(1R,3R)-RSL3 is a stereoisomer of RSL3. RSL3, or (1S,3R)-RSL3, inhibits glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4) and acts as a ferroptosis activator, lowering GPX4 protein expression and inducing ferroptotic death in head and neck cancer cells; it also increases p62 and Nrf2 expression and inactivates Keap1 in HN3-rslR cells[1]. It is supplied as an off-white to light yellow solid (C23H21ClN2O5, MW 440.88) at 99.05% purity.
