Compound Overview
2'-O-Methylguanosine-5'-O-triphosphate sodium, also known as 2'-Methyl GTP sodium, is a methylated derivative of Guanosine 5'-triphosphate and an inhibitor of HCV NS5B RNA-dependent RNA polymerase. It acts as a nucleotide competitor of GTP and functions as a chain terminator that halts RNA synthesis. It can be used for HCV infection research[1]. It has the molecular formula C11H14N5Na4O14P3 and a molecular weight of 625.13 g/mol.
