Compound Overview
6-Azido-hexylamine is a cleavable ADC linker used in the synthesis of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs)[1]. As a click chemistry reagent, it contains an azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) with molecules containing alkyne groups, as well as strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups. It is supplied as a colorless to light yellow liquid (C6H14N4, MW 142.20) at 98.69% purity.
