Compound Overview
6-Me-ATP, also known as N6-Methyl-ATP, is an N6-modified ATP derivative. It exhibits excellent binding affinity for GSK3 and serves as the phosphate group donor for GSK3β-catalyzed phosphorylation of its substrate peptides, making it applicable to Alzheimer's disease research[1]. It has the molecular formula C11H18N5O13P3 and a molecular weight of 521.21 g/mol.

In Vitro
6-Me-ATP (10-200 μM; 20 min-2 h) binds 18 distinct human kinases, including GSK3α and GSK3β, in HEK293T cell lysate; GSK3α shows binding affinity for 6-Me-ATP similar to that for native ATP[1].
