Inhibitors

Compound Overview

Acid Ceramidase-IN-2 is an inhibitor of acid ceramidase with potential antiproliferative and cytostatic activities. Because human acid ceramidase is overexpressed in prostate cancer cells, the compound is thought to have a potential anti-tumor effect, and acid ceramidase hydrolysis can be inhibited in vitro by three α-ketoamides, GT85, GT98 and GT99[1]. It is supplied as a white to off-white solid (C30H47NO6, MW 517.70) at 99.0% purity.
