Scientific Background
Alpha-L-fucosidase is responsible for hydrolyzing the alpha-1, 6-linked fucose joined to the reducing-end N-acetylglucosamine of the carbohydrate moieties of glycoproteins.
Product Description
Alpha-Fucosidase (AlfC) is supplied as a recombinant enzyme that hydrolyses alpha-1,6-linked core fucose from N-glycans. It is produced in E. coli and supplied at >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Typical use is releasing and profiling N-linked glycans in glycoprotein and biologics analysis.
