Product Overview
Clone HAH-25 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes 14-3-3 protein gamma (gene YWHAG) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 28.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 28 kDa.
14-3-3 γ (YWHAG) is a member of the 14-3-3 family of adapter proteins that bind phosphoserine/phosphothreonine motifs on many signaling proteins. It is highly expressed in brain and muscle and helps regulate kinase signaling, cell-cycle control and neuronal development, and YWHAG variants have been linked to epilepsy.

| Flow cytometry | 1:20 |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): HeLa cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human 14–3–3 gamma.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places 14-3-3 protein gamma in the cytoplasm and mitochondrion matrix. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in brain, skeletal muscle, and heart. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
