Product Overview
Clone FGE-1 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes ATP-binding cassette sub-family F member 1 (gene ABCF1) in human and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 95.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 110 kDa.
ABCF1 is an ATP-binding cassette protein that lacks transmembrane domains and associates with ribosomes. It supports translation initiation from both mRNA caps and internal ribosome entry sites (IRES), and it is also studied for roles in innate immune signaling.

Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human colon tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
