Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets (Lyso)-N-acylphosphatidylethanolamine lipase (gene ABHD4) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 38.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 39 kDa.
ABHD4 is an alpha/beta-hydrolase domain lipase that removes acyl chains from N-acyl phosphatidylethanolamines (NAPEs). This produces intermediates for N-acyl ethanolamines, including the endocannabinoid anandamide, so ABHD4 is studied in lipid signaling.

Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HEL cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human ABHD4 fragment (Gln27–Asp342), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
