Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects lysosomal acid phosphatase (gene ACP2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.
Lysosomal acid phosphatase (ACP2) removes phosphate groups from substrates under the acidic conditions of the lysosome. It is thought to help remove mannose-6-phosphate from lysosomal enzymes after delivery, and it is studied in lysosome function.

Immunogen
Recombinant human ACP2 fragment (Arg31–His88), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 98.3% and 96.6%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places lysosomal acid phosphatase in the lysosome membrane and lysosome lumen.
