Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets long-chain-fatty-acid--CoA ligase 5 (gene ACSL5) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation and ELISA.
Long-chain acyl-CoA synthetase 5 (ACSL5) activates long-chain fatty acids to acyl-CoAs and is highly expressed in the small intestine. It is thought to help channel dietary fatty acids toward triglyceride synthesis, and it is studied in intestinal lipid metabolism and epithelial turnover.
