Product Overview
Clone 30A59 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes beta-centractin (gene ACTR1B) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 42.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 42 kDa.
Beta-centractin (ACTR1B, Arp1B) is an actin-related protein of the dynactin complex. Dynactin works with the motor dynein to move vesicles and organelles along microtubules and is associated with the centrosome, so ACTR1B is studied in intracellular transport.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human ACTR1B.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places beta-centractin in the cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
