Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets adhesion G protein-coupled receptor E5 (gene ADGRE5) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 91.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 98 kDa.
CD97 (ADGRE5) is an adhesion G protein-coupled receptor expressed on leukocytes and many other cells. It binds CD55 and integrins and supports leukocyte adhesion and migration, and it is also studied in tumor invasion.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HepG2 cells, human K562 cells, human Jurkat cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): U251 cells.

Recombinant human ADGRE5 fragment (Arg287–Gln690), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places adhesion G protein-coupled receptor E5 in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Broadly expressed, found on most hematopoietic cells, including activated lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and granulocytes. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
